Built on the occasion of the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929, the Poble Espanyol was born with the desire to concentrate the soul of Spain in a single space. Today, most of its constructions remain intact and reproduce, on a real scale, buildings, squares and streets from different areas of Spain. Walking through the village you will discover not only buildings, but also artisans that you can see working live and pieces of contemporary art by universal figures such as Dalí, Picasso, Miró and Guinovart. And don't miss the new Feeling Spain audiovisual installations, with which you will embark on a virtual journey through the most authentic geography and traditions of the Spanish culture.
With a varied program of events for family and adults, shops, workshops, bars and restaurants opened every day, the Village is filled with life 365 days a year. Family activities, shows, music, gastronomy… Poble Espanyol has everything for you to enjoy, alone or accompanied, a day outdoors in an incomparable setting, without leaving Barcelona.
