Teatre Lliure Montjuïc

The Teatre Lliure Foundation was created in 1988, after a few years of operation of the Teatre Lliure as a cooperative of artists and performing arts technicians. Its main purpose is to promote, produce, manage, program and disseminate stage and musical shows aimed at a majority audience based on aesthetic and civic postulates that serve the public and general interest, as an expression of a creative artistic form, plural and contemporary. The Foundation also works to extend its activities to other areas of artistic creation, both in terms of production and in terms of reflection, training, analysis, and dissemination; and for the promotion of all kinds of actions aimed at a wider knowledge and dissemination of the performing arts both in the Catalan cultural context and in other cultural areas, especially in what corresponds to the dissemination of cultural reality Catalan outside its borders.
