Roda de Ter is a town that used to have city treatment. The history of Roda goes back a long way, which can be seen in the Esquerda Archaeological Site. The River Ter crosses the municipality and, in addition to giving it its name, is always present in the life of Rodenca. Not long ago, the economic life of the village was located by the river in the hands of the textile industries. We are proud to have famous writers, national heroes who are from here, a magazine and a municipal radio with a lot of history, some traders eager to keep alive the flame of local trade, sports clubs of different types of sports, two public schools , a central and well-equipped library ... and a traditional motto that identifies us "Bridge over bridge and a church at each end".
