FEDERACIO INTERCOMARCAL D'HOSTALERIA, RESTAURACIO I TURISME, FIHRT

The Federation holds the collective representation of the Guilds and Professional and Business Associations that are part of it.

The purpose of the FIHRT, established by statute, is to coordinate the action of each of the associations involved, representing them in the management and defence of their common interests.

The primary purposes of FIHRT are, among others:

- the coordination of the action of each and every association involved, with its representation in the management and defence of its common interests;
- to encourage and develop any activities necessary to fulfil their aims and aimed at benefiting the Guilds and Associations of Businessmen and Professionals, and by extension, the aggravates of each of these legal entities with their own legal personality;
- to inform the Guilds and Associations of Businessmen and Associated Professionals and to represent them in how many ways they relate to their actions;
- establishing and maintaining contact and relations with public bodies that are competent or related to the activities of Hostaleria, Restoration or similar by advising and collaborating with them in all actions that may be beneficial to the Guilds and Associations of Businessmen and Professionals associated with FIHRT;
- to defend the collective and legitimate interests and professional rights of their associates and of the professionals and businessmen they represent, as well as to defend the Guilds and Associations of Businessmen and Associates of any kind of intrusion or unfair competition from other Associations or Guilds, Professionals, etc.;
- intervene in the various Public and Private Administrations and Organizations in defence of the interests of the Guilds and Associations of Business and Professionals associated with FIHRT in particular, and the Federation itself as a collective;
- to promote the spirit of union between its partners, in order to contribute to the better defence of its interests, as well as to promote both better professional training of the members of the various Guilds and Associations of Businessmen and Professionals associated with the FIHRT and its workers, thereby improving the quality of the service provided;
- and exercising trade union activity, characterised by the existence of the other party linked to the holder of the law by a service relationship and to the front that is exercised, its expression being a series of rights such as collective bargaining, the adoption of measures for collective and individual conflicts of work, social dialogue and institutional participation in the public bodies of the Labour Public Administrations.
