Consorci de Promoció Turística Costa del Maresme

The Maresme region enjoys the geotourism designation of Costa de Barcelona - Maresme and this fact is clearly translated into a consolidated tourist offer that has been reformed as a very active sector for years.

The Consorci de Promoció Turística Costa del Maresme is born from the will and interest of the municipalities, institutions and tourist agents to improve, promote and encourage tourism in the region, all under the brand name Costa de Barcelona - Maresme.

On March 20, 1997, the Consortium was established, a non-profit public entity with its own legal personality. Its purpose, competences and attributions are described in its Statutes, which is the legal norm for the operation of this entity.
