Celler Kripta

In 1955, at the age of 20, the son of tailors and musicians, Agustí Torelló Mata produced his first 500 bottles using the traditional method. In 1960 he married Carmen Sibill and together they founded the winery. In 1978 he produced the first vintage of KRIPTA, one of the most renowned sparkling wines in the world. In 2024 the winery was renamed CELLER KRIPTA.

With 70 years of experience, in 2025 it joined Corpinnat, a symbol of the great sparkling wines of the Penedès, made from 100% organic grapes, hand-harvested and entirely vinified at the winery
with native yeasts.

Today, Celler Kripta, led by Lali, Gemma and Àlex Torelló, is one of the benchmark family wineries, with an annual production of 500,000 bottles, present in more than 30 countries around the world.
