LA FONDA: TRADITION
Cooking activity started in Fonda Neus in 1929, with Neus Comas and
her daughter Teresa Amat, married with Pere Carbó. It was by then
an establishment in the old tradition of coaching inns. Their son Pere
Carbó and his wife Montserrat Carbó continued this “food and lodging”
service, bringing the use of cava into the kitchen, offering a daily menu
and a service à la carte, always including some cava-based recipes.
HOTEL: MODERNITY
At the moment Fonda Neus offers ten more rooms with wi-fi
equipment, air conditioning and TV, and four new lounges decorated
with references to the world of cava wine.
Nowadays, our gastronomy is based on the traditional Catalan
cuisine and a marriage of different elaborated dishes with cava
essences, always respecting the original flavours.
We offer also a breakfast service for everybody and the possibility
of taking the menu away.
Also we can offer catering services at different spaces, and vinyards.
